WINE DESCRIPTION:

I.G.T. Toscana Vermentino. Bottles produced: about 800, Vines: Vermentino 100 %, Alcohol: 14 %, Total acidity: 6 gr / l, PH: 3,5. L’ETRANGE is made from two different clones of Vermentino, a Corsican clone and a Tuscan clone, from two vineyards with these features: West and South-West exposed, Clavey/peebly soil, Age of vineyards: 9 years, Training system: Guyot, Density: 5000 vines / Ha, Selected manual gathering of the grapes, Pruning: end of February, early March. Vinification: Once clarified to 3/5 ° C, the must is put in a tank with completely intact grapes (ratio 2/3 must - 1/3 grapes) with no added sulfites and fermentation takes place spontaneously and without temperature control. The grapes are left to macerate in wine for about 18 months and then bottled without filtration and sulfites addition.
